"Peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 1977 at the Middlechurch Nursing Home, Mrs. Irene Esaruk, aged 82 years, of Middlechurch, Man..

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7 in the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., and Luxton Ave., with Rev. Fr. S. Kicluk officiating. Interment to follow in the Stony Mountain Cemetery.

Mrs. Esaruk was born in the Western Ukraine and had resided in Manitoba for 65 years.

She leaves surviving a son, Peter and daughter - in - law Stasia of Winnipeg and daughter Mr. J. Van Haist (Mary) of Stony Mountain; five grandchildren and eight great - grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Alexander in 1970 and a son John during the Secong World War."
