If you mean same Panivtsi (from Ukrainian spelling "Панівці") - of Borshchiv raion Ternopil oblast - so Polish spelling of its name was "Paniowce". And also - in 19th century and before WW1 it was Austrian, "Polish" it was for about two decades after - in interwar period.
There is also another Panivtsi - in neighboring Kamyanets-Podlskyi rayon Khmelnytska oblast. But in 19th century and before WW1 it was in Russian Empire (and after in USSR).
Also there is exactly "Panowice" in western Poland - which in about same period was Prussian (and German).
Anyway - if you're sure about first one (mst probably as it was also most "immigration possible") - I did number of genealogy researches (and genealogy tours) in the area. Would you be interested in my help (visit to village, church, cemetery, or research in archives) - may contact me:
