The Gawryluik/Gawryluk family held a reunion in the summer of 1999 in Saskatchewan, next one has been scheduled for the summer of 2002 to mark the 100th anniversary of Prokopii Gawryluik's arrival in Canada. In the meantime looking for more Gawryluik/Gawryluk family members. We believe they came from Vaslauti, in the Sadygura District. We have been told the name of the town could be known as Waslouts, Wasloutz, Vaslovivtsi, Vaslovets. We know of 3 brothers Prokopii, Onufrey and Wasyl, all who settled in Saskatchwan looking for possible 4th brother who went south to the United States, possibly North Dakota.
