I am looking for anything about my mother's side of the family. Her father's name was Peter Flainik and was changed to 'Flanik' when he came to the US with his family. He also had a brother named Micheal and possibly a sister, all born in Slovenia-don't know where exactly. Peter's wife's name was Sohpie, who was born in Austria. I think that's where they were married and had some children born there before coming to the US.
Micheal had a wife named Barbara and they also came to the US.
Peter and Micheal were born in Slovenia possibly around 1880
or so. Sophie Konte Flanik was born in Austria a little after that. Barbara was born around that time, also. Don't remember what her maiden name was. She was born in Croatia.
