After studying the immigration records more closely - - I believe that you may be correct and that the correct village is Fuzine. I did print out the map, however, I was unable to locate Carniola. But it is sufficient to know that it is nearby. We have a LDS Center nearby and I plan on ordering the films - - one at a time to do more research.

Unfortunately, neither GGF or GGM had social security cards!!!!!
