Before you start ordering films at the LDS center for Fuzine Croatia, I would suggest you get in touch with the Archbishopric Archives in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Your Sustarsic / Sustersic family most likely came from Fuzina near Zagradec, which is about 35 miles southeast of Ljubljana. There are 2 Sustarsic and 1 Sustersic families in that area today. Another interesting fact is that there are over 15 Zaletelj [variation of Zaletu] in the Zagradec area as well, two of them in Fuzina itself. It is quite possible that your Sustarsic/Zaletu ancestors were acquainted before they emigrated to the US where they were married. Furthermore, Krainish is a German form for Krain = Carniola = Kranjska, which is the region in question.
