Hi
I think, but I am not sure , one of George Krueger's sons named Gottlieb. One of Gottliebs descendants settled in Barnesville, MN. His name is Richard Arthur krueger. I also have Krueger ancestors that settled in Barnesville, MN. My great grandfather John Kruger settled there. So if the above info is correct I wonder if our two families are connected someway ?
So I was wondering if you know where your Kruegers came from in Posen? Mine said Prussia, which isn't a great deal of help, but we suspect Posen.
I also had my dna tested and if you or someone else is a krueger descendant maybe you would consider getting tested for genealogy purposes.
Do a DNA test.
You can help other Kruegers and myself find their Kruger/ Krueger relatives. I am writing all relatives of Krueger/Kruger to encourage you to get a DNA test so you can help me and others find their Krueger/Kruger cousins. Recently I used DNA testing to learn about my ancestry, and you might be interested in doing this, too!?

I did the "Family Finder test", it costs $99.? I had good results.? The main reason I had the test is I can't locate my great grandfathers ancestors or relatives.? His name was Johann Friedrich /Kruger/ John (JOHANN) Friedrich (Fred) Kruger.?

Probably the best test to locate living relatives within 5 generations is the "Family Finder test". It costs $99, from http://www.familytreedna.com/ There are other kinds of tests:
One is the YDNA test. It tests your male line way way back. Only males can use this test.
The other test is the mtDNA test. It tests the female or mother's line. Men and women can use this test.

Anyone can do the "Family Finder" test, which can connect you with recent relatives and give you a breakdown of your ancestral origin across all family lines. In the Family Finder test, you can see what proportion of your DNA comes from which regions of the world. All it takes is a painless cheek swab.?

I had my test done at http://www.familytreedna.com/ The more people that test the better chance of finding a relative.
