Do you have any information on your Great Grandmothers parents? My Grandparents were born in Comlasul Mare, Romania which was also Hungary at one time.(My Grandmother Maria Denuel was born in 1896) My Great GrandFather was Peter Denuel who lived in Comlasul and also Grabatz at one time. (He was born in 1864)I believe he also lived in other towns in the area as did other relatives. He was the town undertaker and also cabinet maker. My relatives from Romania were also German, my Father and his parents came to America in 1922 also through Ellis Island and settled in Chicago. My Grandmother had 2 Sisters Elisabeth and Anna and 2 Brothers Joseph and Anthony. I have also had contact with another Denuel from the same area in Romania who turned out to be my cousin, we share a common Grandfather 3xGreat who was Jakob Denuel who was born in Bogarosch in 1844.
