I am looking for relatives in Mures, Romania also. My grandfather's name was Peter Lazarucz. Could they have been related to your family? My grandfather came to the US in 1922 I believe and he also ended up in Detroit. Surely they might have known each other. My Grandfather changed his name to Peter Lenkey after arriving. I don't know why. Have you found anything?
