My mother Katherina Menyes (1906) married Stephan Dienesch 1898). I can only recall two of my mother's family : sisters Susan and Mary. I can only recall two of my father's brothers: George and Mike. Our family immigrated to Canada during the mid 1920's. My sister Katharine was born in 1924, my brother Fred was born 1936 and I was born in 1949.

I believe one of my parents was from Birk and the other from a nearby village.
