My grandparents on my fathers side left Romania in 1909 or 1910 for Canada or U.S. His name was Nicholai & his wife's name was Susana. Her maiden name was Stanculescu. They migrated to Canada and settled in Saskatchewan. There were four boys (Bucar, Gheorghe, Radu and Ioan) and two girls, Maria and Frucina). I have been trying to locate anyone who may have some recollection of the family. There is a possibility their name was MORARU and was changed to NENCIU while in Romania. When they arrived in Canada name was NENCIU and was later changed again to NENCESCU. Father was born in Hirsova and my dads brother in Sarai. Please contact me if you have ay information whatsoever.
