I am just starting to research my grandfathers surname, Fogarassy. I believe he was born in Transylvania, and I do know that there is a Fogaras (or something like that) mountain range, and an old town with the same name. No body in our family knows a lot about him, and he passed away some time ago. His first name was Elemeir, but was called Elmer. Any tidbits would be great, would love to know more about the family, and the country.
