I too am connected to the mass of folks who moved from Pancota to Gervais. My primary families are the Hauptmans and the Dorans (though I'm not sure the Dorans were actually from Pancota), but we also have Pfau, Schmidt, Pirmajer, and Dieshen. We have Brochurst in there too, but not sure where they came from.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has been to the Catholic cemetery in Pancota. My family were all Catholic (and spoke German). I suspect we have family buried in the cemetery there.
