Greetings. Your grandfather was a partner with my grandfather
Tom Rossiaky at College Shoe Repair, 2109 N. High St., Cols. OH from 1921-28. I believe your grandmother was Ancha (Agalia). I have met your mother also. I have a photo of Dimitri & Ancha with 2 daughters taken in Cols. in the early 1920's. I also have a photo of Magarevo/Tarnevo taken in 1910.I will send to you if send me a address. If you look on
www.farsarotul.org/, click on newsletters, scroll down to volume lll, issue 2,there is the photo of Magarevo along with a photo of Anastasia & Pandu taken around 1910. Looking at immigration records on ships passenger lists, your grandfather and a brother went to Frankfort,Ind.first. I believe that Mike Terpinas lived in Indianapolis. I a copy of a photo of George Terpinas in a group wedding photo taken in Detroit. The Terpinas house was in the upper part of Magarevo, next to my great grandparents house. I believe that Naum was like a blacksmith, he shodd horses for the traveling caravansof horses and mules. He is probably buried in the St. Dimitri cemetary, next to the church. I assume that you live in greater Chicago. Did your father or 1 of your uncles work for Westinghouse at 1 time? I know that alot of the Terpinas family are buried in the St. Nicholas part of Evergreen cemetary. Your grandparents are across the road from the rest. My great uncle, George Russiaky, along with his son Gus are at Evergreen also. I know that I am getting carried away. Please e-mail me back. I have more to tell.
