I have been searching several years for links to my grandfather from Dafni Crete Greece. The surnames listed were all found on Ellis Island records. Can anyone tell me if these names could be the same family as many of them were from Dafni arriving in the US from 1906 thru 1946. Alexander Loucadakis arrived 10 Nov 1910. I also found a Nicolas Loucadakis who arrived in US 29 Oct 1910 from Dafni, not sure they are related. Many of the names I found in Ellis Island records migrated to Ohio. Many also lived in Canton and from various records lived in the general area of Cherry Ave SE. I am lacking in knowledge of Greek culture and history as my mother was raised by her maternal grandparents in North Carolina, as both parents died before she was 4 yrs old. Any help would be appreciated.
