if anyone has experienced ordering wills at this courthouse (Kypseli section of Athens) I'd like to ask a question.
I've just uncovered 7 family wills there, the earliest back in 1928. Should I depend on luck to find the deceased's mother's maiden name on the document? Or were the deceased's parents (full names) generally listed? Or does it depend on the era and town the will was originally written/filed? The several that I looked at (non relatives) had the name of the father of the deceased but not the mother. I suppose it's possible the mother is mentioned in the text if miraculously she was still living at her child's will or a reference is made to her property?

What do you all think?
thanks!
