If you already know that your ancestors were in a specific town in Turkey in the 1860s, then you are going to want to trace back through the next generation in Turkey if possible.

You should really watch drawing conclusions on your ethnic background based on your DNA test results. Most scientists argue that a DNA test has almost no value in determining one's ethnicity. DNA testing has a very specific purpose in genealogy - namely to help a person identify the likelihood that he or is is related to another person - within the past several generations.
