I am very grateful to both Robert and incitatus for the assistance in locating records regarding my grandfather and his family.

I am wondering the likelihood of actually finding a document such as birth certificate for Fabian, or his siblings, that may lead me to more information regarding the parents (my g grandparents), marriage, death, birth, baptism, christenings, etc.

How would I identify the appropriate government or church for the area? And, how difficult is the language barrier?
