Dear Jenifer,
My name is Vladimir Srdic and I am a sun of Obrad Glumac daughter. My mother is a sister of your grand further Mile Glumac.
I live in the town Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia, a state which previously was a republic of ex-Yugoslavia.
As you already know, Glumac family originate from Lipovo Polje Croatia, again a previous republic of ex-Yugoslavia.
The name of great-grandfather of Obrad Glumac was Marko Glumac. His sun Ilija was Obrad's grand grandfather.
The name of Obrad's father was Todor Glumac and mother's name was Soka. They got suns: Obrad, Mile and dothers: Jeka, Milka and Mara. You will see that Serb children usually obtained ancestors names.
Obrad Glumac and his wife Marica got suns: Dane, Mile, and Ilija. Daughters are Milica, Pera, Julka and Boja.
The sun Dane died as soldier in the second WO; Mile your grandfather went to Canada; Ilija lived in Slovenija (again a republic of ex-Yugoslavia).
In order to give you some more details about Ilija's family I have to be authorized. However, I realized that you were in contact with Ilija's sun Bogdan.
My mother Milica Glumac married Srdic got a sun Vladimir my self (I am 72 years old) and daughter Radmila i.e. my sister. Milica also died in the second WO.
Descendents of Obrad's dauther Pera Glumac, married Basta, live in Belgrade. Again the details I can not give you without authorization
The daughter Julka Glumac, maried Kalember, lived in Zagreb, Croatia and her children also stay there. Again the details I can not give you without authorization.
