My husband's grandfather was Ivan/John Berkovic from Stari Grad. He emigrated to USA in 1909 (at age 6) with his mother Kate (nee Bogdanovich), her sister Jela Bogdanovich who was to marry John Kovacevich in California and Klara Berkovic, the grandmother.
They settled in California where Kate and her husband Jack Berkovich had 6 more children.
Do you know how I could find church records for John's birth or Kate and Jack's marriage?
