My father was born in Vulchi Dol, Bulgaria in 1919 and I am looking for his ancestors. His name was Нетко Саров (Netko Seroff). His father's name was Никола Саров (Nikola Seroff) and his mother's name was Marika Nedeva Tschuzheva. If anyone has any info on this family or any advise on how to get more info (I am in the US and don't read/speak Bulgarian), please contact me.

Looking for information on the Minchoff family. A large number of people left Bulgaria between 1880-1890. My great-grandfather, Nicholis, was born about 1881 and left around 1911. He married a woman named Mary, who was born in Poland (both of her parents were Polish as well).

I was wondering if anyone could help with finding information on my family.

My father was Todor Panoff - he immigrated I think to Argentina in 1922. I don't know any of his relatives. I thought he was born in Bulgaria and moved to Yugoslavia, but his passport was from Argentina. If you have any information, please let me know about relatives, etc.

We are searching for offspring of Apostol and Srebra Iliev-Ushlinovski. They had four children in Varna - Two daughters, two sons: Daughters: Elenka and Milka maybe born between 1903-1908.

Zora Parkevich Tammer is the grandaughter of Apostol's brother, Kuzman Iliev. Kuzman was never in Varna.

I'm looking for brothers or sisters of Kyrill Drasheff or Dragev born in varna, Bulgaria around 1877. He later married Helen von Grumbkau (sp?) of Berlin. They lived in Russia until they left around 1915 or 1916. If anyone knows ANYBODY with this last name please contact me. They were my grandparents. I know of all the Drasheffs in the US. I am looking for any information on Simeon Owtscharoff (Ovtcharoff)-Harisan. He was born February 11, 1898 in Sofia Bulgaria. Married Erna Helena (Erna Elene) Wagner in May 1929 in Berlin. They had one child, Radka, who was born June 1, 1934 in Sofia. They spent some time in Germany, eventually immigrating to Peoria Illinois in 1950. They had family in Varna and Targoviste Bulgaria. According to notes we have, Simeon's family was most of the village of Targoviste, his grandfather sired 36 children by 2 wives.

We have photos of Radka and "cousins" in Targoviste dated 1942.

There is a photo that is Radka with "uncle Vaneu" in Targoviste. He was a shoe maker. Also dated 1942.

We know of no living relatives other than my husband and his brother. I'm sure they are out there, just trying to find them and learn more of the family history. We have photos and would like to share them with other family members.

We are in England and are reaearching my wife's family. Does you know about a family in Minneapolis by the name of PANOFF, Christ C. Pannoff born Bulgaria 1882 was married, 1916 to Josephine Sullivan. Their son was George F. Panoff b. 23 July 1922 died Petaluma CA, 2001 They lived on Grand Avenue Minneapolis, in 1942 and George was at St. Mary's College, Terrace Heights, Winona. George left college in 1942 but we cannot find out what happened to him between 1942 and his death in 2001. Josephine Panoff died in Anoka, MN 1952 and Christ died Hennepin, MN. 1953. My wife's grandmother was the sister of Josephine.They were from County Cork, Ireland and we have quite a lot of family history. We do have the details from the US census records.

Blagoi Panoff emigrated to Argentina i think 1925 or 1935. He and his brother Strahil arrived to US, and then Blagoi went to Argentina. And i would like to know the reason they inmigrated to Argentina where there are a small bulgarian descendent comunity.
