My grandfather Mile Canak was born in 1889 in Lohovo, Bihac. Father's name Petar, mother Jelena (Novakovic?). He had one living brother Stephan born about 1887. Both parents died ~1899. Mile went to an agricultural school in Lijevno(?). Mile had relatives named Grubor. Mile's mother Jelena possibly had relatives in Korencina in Lika province. Mile's family records were at the church of St Peter and Paul in Pritoka.
Mile came to the US in 1907 and settled in Milwaukee, WI. I believe Stephan stayed in Bosnia. Any information on any of these persons would be much appreciated. Thanks.
