Well the "Powiat" of Grodno, is the "County" of Grodno which is certainly where my Czebotars are from. It would be difficult to see they are not related, just how far back!

As I said, the firstnames are usually an indicator of ancestors, so it would be fair to assume. The name Teofila sounds in keeping with the type of names used in my Czebotars e.g. Fiodor etc.

I may get more of a clue when I get some information back from Poland....so watch this space
