Does anyone know where Wisnawics, Russia in the Suwalki Guberniya is located today? My Grandfather was born in Wisnawics according to the Ellis Island ship manifest in 1910. I know the name must have changed since 1910, and that the Suwalki Guberniya is in parts of present-day Belarus, Lithuania, and Poland.

Is anyone remotely familiar with Wisnawics? I greatly appreciate any help at all.
