Thank you for sharing your experiences.It is most encouraging to me. I know in my heart that he must have siblings, even though my mother knows of no one. You are correct on birth dates. On their 1928 marriage certificate, my gf was born in 1895, but on the 1930's census he's born in 1899! Also he went by 3 different first names, I'm sure to be more "American", and it probably made it easier to have a job here if you had an easier to pronounce name. The US side is not difficult its his homeland info I can't get to. His Detroit Michigan Record of Registry card said he came from "Smolanica,Grodno,Poland", which I was not finding any luck getting info on this place.
