Surnames: Schneider/Sznajder
My famous cousin (famous in the ultra orthodox world) is Rabbi Moshe Yehudah Schneider. He had a yeshiva before the war and during the war, escaped to Stamford Hill, England and re-established his yeshiva there.

My great great grandfather was Shlomo Schneider, a "giant" in his village (very tall) and a "baal agalah" cart driver. When Hitler came, he refused to leave, having built up his business for years. He decided to fight the nazis instead. He and his grandson perished doing so. He possibly had a twin brother, Eliyahu (Rabbi Moshe Yehudah Schneider's father). Some burglers came to steal the merchandise. That time, Shlomo asked Eliyahu to sub for him and because of this, the burglers ended up shooting Eliyahu instead of Shlomo. Shlomo had two sons that I know of. Elias/Elchick who came to America first. And my great grandfather, Moshe (Morris) who was sponsored by Elchick.

Shlomo was most likely the brother of Miriam/Minnie Beit (Schneider) as well whose descendants include the Beits, Londons, and Katzes.

I am seeking anyone with information about Eliyahu's siblings or parents or Shlomo's childen or think they are related to me somehow!
