I am helping my daughter-in-law with her family tree. Her great-aunt Gloria Santos-Castillo was born in 1924 in Santander, Spain. The family moved to Nicaragua about 1925 or 1926. The family than moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. Gloria married Hugh Louis Fagot in 1948 at Chalmette, Louisiana. She was his second wife. They had at least one child---Lana Jean Fagot. I don't know her married name. I believe that she lives in Jennings, Louisiana.
I see where Hugh died in May of 1969 in Bilwaskarma, Nicaragua. Why did he go back? Contact me to share info.

I'm seeking some further information about my grandmother Florence Paris born in Colon, Pamana in 1926. More specifically, I would like to get some information about her parents whom I have no knowledge about. Her mother may have possibly been born in Panama City, Panama and her father in Barbados (city unknown). Florence moved to the US (year unknown) and lived in Brooklyn, NY since. She has children by the names of Vielka, Maritza, Mayra, Mirna, DIlsia, and Laura.

Most likely there is a family link between my grandmother and your family. Bluefields is a small place and back then it was even smaller. I don't have any information. I am trying myself to find more on my Grandma. I keep on looking.

Hello! The name of this thread also caught my attention. I am doing research on my father's family and would really appreciate any hints, clues or connections. My father's name is Dr. Vernet A. Hodgson, his parents (now deceased) were Leonardo Palmerson Hodgson and Grace Muriel Hebbert. Grandpa Leo was born in 1911, was an Atlantic Coast baseball pioneer. He passed away in 1967. His parents were Vernet Theodore Hodgson Jr. and Josephine Cash. I don't have birth or death dates for them, but I imagine they were both born some time in the 1880 or 1890's. My great-great grandfather was also named Vernet Theodore Hodgson, but my information runs dry at this point. Do these names sound familiar to anyone?

Dices que tu bisabuelo era Felix Escoto, se caso con Concepcion Munoz? el 28 Agost,1897 y tuvieron un hijo Miguel Jeronimo D'Escoto y Munoz, no se donde el nacio pero se caso el 18 de Abril 1931 en los Angeles con Rita Brockmann. Puedes comfirmar la informacion? y si estoy correcta puedes darme tu infomacion?

Mi abuelo se llama Hermogenes Escoto Mayorga, casado con Ana Jacoba Escoto (Poveda Urbina) todos viven en U.S. Mi abuelo tenía hermanos y hermanas, uno se llamaba Habram Escoto (el decía mucho que ellos eran descendencia Italiana) creo que el papa de mi abuelo era Félix Escoto. Busco información demi apellido, quien sabe algo? Alguien me dijo que el apellido fue SCOTO o Scotto, y que viene de Roma... Gracias.

Thank you for your reply. Mi abuelo, Hermogenes jugaba desmoche siempre. He was married to Ana Jacoba Escoto (Urbina) has 8 children. We all live in the U.S for many years. I was told that the Molieris and Escotos are familia. Also, do you know where the lastname Escoto came from in Nicaragua? I have heard that it is also Italian, that it may have been spelled "Scoto" or "Scotto" when it first came to Nicaragua. I am looking for information de mi apellido. Thank You.

Francisco Escoto se caso con Maria Castillo tuvieron 6 hijos,Felipa,Felix,Jesus,Margarita,Natividad(mama de mi bisabuelo Prospero Molieri Escoto),y Victoriano. No se si se caso con ella o no pero con Juana Leiton el tuvo 3 hijos, Fidel,Francisco,e Isabel. Si tu me puedes dar mas informacion te lo voy a agradecer.

I never meet him but know the name. My great-grandfather was Prospero Antonio Molieri Escoto, his father was Jose Antonio Molieri Rago and his mother Natividad Escoto Castillo. I think they were cousins and I know they played desmoche all the time. If you can gime more information about the Escotos I will share all the info I have. Thanks.

I was with Francisco roiz molieri son of prospero Molieri last weekend talking about our family heritage. My maternal grandfather is Pedro Francisco Escoto Leyton whose grandmother married a molieri.

Hi My name is Gustavo. My mother is Ruby Fagot Muller, and her father's name was Philips Fagot. Also my mother was born in rio coco Nicaragua. What I remember Philips' wife is Edna Muller and they had 9 children. Their children's name Clark ,Sara, Ana, Geraldine, Violeta, Ruby my mother, Stedman, Hilton and the last one that I don't really remember her name. My mother and Geraldine live here in Florida, but the rest came back to Rio Coco. Maybe we are tlaking about the same person.

Hi, this is strange that I came across this. My mother is the daughter of Leroy Hodgson, his father's name is James whom everyone called Papa Jim and his mother's name was Louisa Narcisso(Spain). His children were Dunstand. Leroy(my grandfather), Carolina (Kerr), Judith, Laura, etc( I am only mentioning the ones that I actually met). He also had two more children with a different woman years later named Charles and Llewelyn. Which Charles sad to say just passed away 7/12,2012 making him the last of the Hodgsons of that generation. My mother told me her grandmother's family originated from Spain with the last name Narciso and therefore they named my mother Jacqueline Narciso. My mother is from Bluefields.

Hi, just came across this post. Kind of strange how I came about it. Anyway, the lady that originated this post and asked about a Narcisso, that Narcisso she came from Spain. She married a man from Bluefields name James Hodgson whom everyone called Papa Jim. He had a slew of children, Carolina, Laura, Leroy, Dusntand, Judith, etc. Later after his wife died I believe he remarried and had two more children Charles and Llewelyn. Llewelyn passed away 2011 and Chales passed away this week.

I currently reside in the U.S. Maryland. I moved here in 2004. I, however, was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Most of my immediate family resides there except my brother Gene who resides in Maryland as well currently. There are other family members that live in Panama. My mother for instance, was born in Colon Panama.

Thank you for writing back so soon! I believe my mother and sister had been in touch with Fabiola once, years ago(2001?) I cannot speak spanish, but I understand a lot. She talked of my grandmother Sue Lin Mann(Mamita). I loved her so much. I was told I was her favorite grandchild :) I am 34 years old. So I'm still learning about my family. I do know also of the connection to the surname Karlson/Carlson because I looked it up and came across another site with information on it. It had a picture of someone on it. I will try to find it because it ties in the Carlson/Karlson to us.
