Hello Susan,
I know my grandmother, Luisa Hodgson, had relatives (don't know how distant) but they were from Colombia. Her daughter Edna Mae was born in Bluefields and so was her son, my father, Cyril Victor Beer.
Perhaps through these names we can find more relatives.
I understand they did have some left in Nicaragua besides their father, Alfred Victor Beer.
Let's see who we can find. I am so excited.
