Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Paul Frederick Caraccioli. I am the second son to Edward Patrick Caraccioli, who is the only son to Edward Patrick Caraccioli. Our forefathers come from the family in Naples. We left Naples to come to New York City around the beginning of the nineteenth century (1804).

I am interested in learning more about the entire roots and history of the Caraccioli Family history. It would be greatly appreciated that anyone with the least little bit of knowledge or information on the subject please contact me by email at Caraccioli@aol.com. Thank you.

Hello Paul,

I am interested in compiling my family geneaolgy as well.

I am in Baton Rouge Louisiana, US

I am not sure of the route our forefathers actually took, but for my dad and uncles and grandparents I know that we also came from Naples - Through Corcia(Italy) now French possesion, and perhaps to New York,
The furthest back I have been able to track is to Joaquin Caraccioli. He came over from Corcia and migrated to Honduras. Here he married Marie Duran ( teacher from France). I am told he was an engineer that worked on the railroad and they established a school in Honduras which still exists today.
They had 7 children Jose, Antonio, Gennie, Jose Hipolito, Luis, Margarita, & Ramon'

Jose Hipolito is my Great grandfather. He had two sons Felippe my Grandfather and Felix.
My grand father Had 4 children Philip, Josephine, Louis & Paul

Louis is my father.

Apparently my grandfather's father live in San Pedro Sula ,and the school you have mention is still there!

Hello John. It's great to know people that are interested in their past. All that I've learned from my ancestors is that they migrated from Corsica in the 1800s to Puerto Rico. I don't know what part of Corsica they are from. If I find out any information about Corsicans from that era I'll let you know.

Hi, I see that this is a very old note but if you happen to see my reply someday, I would like to mention that I am a Caraccioli descendent from San Pedro Sula, Honduras. My grandfather was Leopoldo Caraccioli, who was one of Joaquin Caraccioli s grandchildren, he was a son of Luis. So, my grandfather was one of your father s cousin.

Good luck on your search!
