I am also a descendant of the Alamilla, Alpuche and Gomez Families. They all originated in Merida, Yucatan.

I believe the first Alpuche was Francisco Dias de Alpuche (born @ 1610) and he was a Captain in the Spanish Army. Married Maria Ana del Canto. Sons included Cristobal de Alpuche and Carlos de Alpuche. I strongly believe all Alpuches in the Yucatan and Belize are descendant from this branch. They previously lived in Bacalar but fled during the Mayan Caste Wars to Belize.
