Lorain, Oh. Gladys M. Oleyar (nee Baum), 80, of Lorain, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct 22, 1922, in Loyalhanna, Pa. and had lived in Latrobe, Pa. She lived in Lorain since 1954.
Mrs. Oleyar was a member of the World Wide Church of God, Lorain. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Michael Oleyar; daughter, Nancy Gutierrez of Brunswick; and brother, Leonard of Ligonier, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary (nee Prohaska) Baum; and brothers Glen and Stanley.
Friends may call Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. at Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave. Lorain, where services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Edward Faulk, pastor of World Wide Church of God, and the Rev. Dean Stansbury, pastor of Lakeview Chapel, Aurora, will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
