My memory may not be correct it seems that there are 2 Lawrence's, one who was the son of Andrew & Mary Lovasik, born around 1827, had brothers Andrew & Clement, and sisters Helen & Anna. Several are buried in St. Clements Cemetery.

Interesting story about Fr. Lawrence though..he wrote or transcribe a HUGE work of music into Slovak. I think many were traditional Slovak hymns. We used them for years at St. Clements and treasured them. When "changes" happened to this traditionally Slovak church in the late 1980's/early 90's, the incoming priest made them destroy all the books, which was a very painful thing to those choir members..many who had been on the choir for 40-50 years and grew up using these hymns. I think that there were several members who "hid" copies so that they would not all be destroyed.

Anyway..if you do a search on Ancestry too, you can find a good bit of family info on the Lovasik family. One branch looks to have lived in Michigan.
