I ordered the films from the LDS..I can give you the film numbers for that area. They cover generally the time period from about 1775-1896..Baptisms, Deaths, marriages & Confirmations. I spent months pouring over them and still have quite a few holes...too many people with the same names!! ;) The confirmation records are very confusing because there is not a specific year range that I can figure out. It's just a massive list so it's difficult to use the age of the person to who you might be looking for!

There is still a lot about the records that I'm not sure of, like how the addresses work, i.e. is the house number that (a -house- number) or is it more like a street number or a large piece of land with multiple houses. But using the addresses is a big help in linking people and families.

Anyway, the records (Roman Catholic) for Turzovka & Olesna are in 2062264, 2062265 & 2052266.
