After I read your message saying there were no Slavs in that part of the world at that time, I was pretty confused, so I called my Dad's aunt and she said, "Noooo, they were Rusyn Carpatho!" Sheesh. She must have meant my great-grandfather, because my great-grandmother's obituary says she was of Slavish descent, and church records say she was from the same region, Kecskoc. At any rate, I learned something new {smile}.
I wanted to thank you for all the great websites. All of this is very interesting. One day I would like to visit there. Are you in America or Slovakia?
