Searching John Kanigowski, born March 8, 1870 in Posnan Province, probably the town of Brodnica. He migrated to the U.S. around 1890 or 1891. Also, his sister came, but I do not know if she was a nun before or after entering the U.S. Her name was Sister Mary Parmena. Their fathers' name was John also, and he did not leave the old country.

I am searching the Szymanski family that settled in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, around the 1850s? The known children of the family are Victoria born February 12, 1872, Clementine, and Frank. The children were probably born in Wisconsin but the parents who are unknown were from Posnan Province.
