My mother's maiden name was Jacunski. She was the youngest of 17 brothers and sisters. Their father was Walter (Walasdyszlav) Jacunski. He came from Wilna, Poland (born 1865)and died in New Britain, CT (USA) in 1929. I believe he arrived in the USA in 1893 with his wife, Mary Gawalus and their 3 sons, Thomas, Joseph, and George (George was born on the ship). The rest of the siblings were born later in the USA. All have since died but I understand that Walter's parents were Adam Jacunski (died in 1875) and Barbara Bolinowski. I have no other information on them but would very much like to trace any of their siblings or ancesters and find out where they were from. Please let me know if there is any possible connection to your family.
