Thank you, Borys for your reply! I am having so much trouble locating this place. My Great Aunt (maiden name, Pepek) listed her place of birth on her US Naturalization paperwork and on a ship's manifest as "Kepa Szczucinska." Her husband, Jozef Witaszek, was born in Wola Szczucinska and I have checked the parish records for that place and could find him but not find her there. I also found a Kepa just north of Slupiec, which is in the same vicinity. I may try sending a letter to the parish in Rataje Slupskie as well as one to Szczucin for records in Leka Szczucinska.
