Is your family from Ciechanowiec? My Grandmother and her family came from there. The Family name was Pelchowitz.
She came to the USA in August 1910. Her name was listed as Enie Peruchowicz. She had 3 brothers that came later as Pelkowitz. We have Canadian Relatives, South American Relatives and Rabbi Ephraim Pelchovitz who passed on in Israel in 1965.
Have you come across the name in any of your research.
