My dad has just passed and i am interested in tracing back as far as I can to discover more about my family and where the name comes from. I know he came from Nova in Poland and was the last surviving child of his parents. He still has family there and with anyones help I want to go as far as i can on this... Is this name jewish? As I know whilst in england he was catholic marrying an Irish woman. Anyone know anything that can take me back please let me know.
