Surnames: Nowak
Our Nowak ancestors too were Silesian's. They left Poland in 1855 arriving New York on 29 May 1855, traveled to Texas, IL and settled in Missouri. We have been trying to find where our ancestors originated from in Poland. We know they traveled the same ship with other relatives of ours in 1855 who have been identified by being Baptised in Sw. Bartlomiejz, Kielcza, Poland and this is the closes we have come to narrowing our search. Below is our ancestors and would be interested if we may be related.


Franciszek (Franz) Nowak's father's name was Martini Nowak and his mother was Maria (Jendrusz) Nowak

Franciszek (aka: Franz, Frank) Born in Poland 1809/1810 and died in Missouri on December 25, 1888
Wife: Ewa Nowak (maiden name Lyssy), born in Poland 1812, died in Missouri in 1859

Children:
Anton (aka: Antoni) born in Poland 1834, died in Texas between 1910- 1920
Franciszek (aka: Frank C.), born in Poland 1838, died in Missouri April 19, 1901
John (aka: John S.) born in Poland 1841 and died in Missouri April 28, 1912
Mary (aka: Marianna and Maria), born in Poland 1844, died in Missouri 1876
Anna born in Poland in 1846
Michael born in Poland in 1849
Joseph born in Poland on March 16, 1852, died in Missouri February 22, 1876
