I am looking for biographical details on Titanic survivor; Benoit Picard. He was born in Warsaw, Poland as Berk Trembiskey and changed his name to Benoit Picard (or Pickard/Pecard) when he moved to France. He was unmarried in 1912 and travelled on Titanic as a third class passenger -- he survived.

I have a death record for a Benoit Pecard who died in San Francisco, California on May 25, 1941. This person had been born on January 1, 1874 and appears never to have married.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who can substantiate these details or shed light on what really did become of Benoit Picard of Titanic fame.
