Could the town perhaps be Myszyniec? This is not far from Ostrolenka.
My mom's side of the family is somehow related to the Brzostek family, not sure how. My mom was born in New Britain, Connecticut. Her father's name was Walenty Kaminski; his wife's maiden name was Rozalia Mroz. All from the Myszyniec/Niedzwiedz area in Poland.
