Hi there,

I'm looking for other Lezuchowskis with which to discuss family history with! I am a 3rd generation American, descended from this family line, and have heard some pretty tall tales regarding just what exactly my great grand mother was. I am told she was of some degree of Royalty - but cannot confirm that in any way. Does someone out there have more information?

My maternal great-grandfather is Vicint Lezuchowski. He was married to Anna Ziemba. They lived in Wayne County, Michigan. If this helps, please let me know.

Did not see the surname "Lezuchowski" in the coat of arms books. There is a "Lokuciewski" the L has a line through it and sounds like a W. This family had a cost of arms in 1700, it was the same as the "Boncza" family crest. The background is blue with a unicorn in white on the shield.

The coat of arms described differs from the family crest in our possesion which is a shied plaque with a S in a blue background topped with a helmet and fleur de lea.

Someone borrowed my coat of arms books, when I get it back and I remember this e-mail I will look for the one you described and let you know what surmame it is listed under. I bought the book in Poland so it's about as Polish as you can get!

If you do a search for Lokuciewski on the internet you will find my family tree dating back to 1520. There is also a picture of the family crest on the main page. Note the spelling of our name may have changed as the family lived in a voatile area in european history.

My name is Cletus R. Karamon. My father (Cletus E. Karamon) and your father were cousins and would hang out. I have some PICS of your father when he was a kid.
My Grandfather was Cletus R. Karamon. His mother was Mary Ziemba. Anna was her Sister along with Helen.
I also have PICS and some info on George and Tilly Oles.
My Grandmother is Stella Karamon. She in now 89 years old.
I have been working on the family tree for about 4 years now and I always get the question. "What ever happen to Danny's boy" And were did Julie Go?(I think this is your mothers name. I don't have my notes in front of me. So forgive me if I have it wrong)
I put together a family reunion in July 2000. The next one will be July 2003 hope you can come.

My Grandfather was Stanislaw Lezuchowski. I know he did have a brother Joseph and a sister. He lived in Ohio and Michigan.

I am sure you know that you need to locate a precise place of birth among the US documents.
