Greetings, I am wondering how I can find local records for my ancestor. If the local church books or civil records still exist for Smolnik in poland? I believe in LDS microfilm in Utah there is something still (https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/351132?availability=...)

Frank Kosick (last name has so many variations in documents that I have seen.... Kosiak, Cossick, Kociake)
He was born 20 April 1857 in Smolnik, Sanok, Podkarpackie, Poland.
As far as I know, he was Greek Catholic.

Frank's parents: Sam Kosick & Annie Gedick. Sam also had a first wife named Palagia Ochnich (who died).

Frank's siblings:
There were a total of 9 siblings - who all emigrated to the USA in early 1900s.

Frank's grandparents (on his father's side): Mike Kociake & Mary Sinko. This fact I found from another relative, but I have no document to prove this... I want to try and find the actual records.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
