I don't know if this is the place or not, but I am having a very hard time tracing back my family. I am from America, and paid for ancestry.com for several months, with no success. I know my great grandfather's name was Jan Podkolicki, and was changed to John Politsky when he came here to America in the early 1900's. I saw his immigration papers, and they said he came from Sulina, Poland. Solina is the closest city name, and the province of Podkarpackie sounds similar to Podkolicki. If you could provide me with any help, or information I would greatly appreciate it.
