I have references to 3 people with this surname (found in the book "Rudolph Roots Go Deeper"). I'd like to connect the three of them and as you mention, because of the proximity of the villages they are likely related to your Cyrys line as well.

1) Andreas Cyrys of Grabczok married Marianna Rudolf in 1822. (most likely this marriage and other events below occured in Brynica)

2) Simon Cyris was bride's guardian listed at marriage of Martha Rudolph and Florian Cebulla in 1860 (because her father Bartek was dead).

3) Agnes Cyrys (born c. 1804, died 21 Apr 1869) was the 3rd wife of Johann Kosioll (Jan Koziol). They married after 1834. This is part of my direct line.

I'm interested in the Grabzok census you mentioned (years ago). Dates/source? I can be reached at staciasimonsen at gmail dot com.
