I've been searching for the towns of Osekar and Delieza, but haven't had any luck. These names were listed in baptismal and marriage records in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for my CIESLAK family. Also listed in a ship record was a last residence of Czekanow, which I believe to be Ciechanow, Gubernia (Russian Administrative District) Plock is also mentioned. I have a feeling that some of these are small villages within the area of Plock. I have located Czekanow, but have not found records yet. If you have run into the same problem--please let us BANG our heads together! :) Records in America state that my CIESLAKS were from Russia--Poland--and Germany. They came to the US in 1891 and 1901. Their ethnic background is Polish.
