Found the following LOJAS WWII Draft Registration Cards, 1942 (Illinois)


John LOJAS KOSLA, place of residence 1634 W. 15th Street, Chicago, IL, born on Aug. 15, 1884 in Poronin. His nearest relative was Mrs. Angeline Kosla (most likely his wife), same address. John Lojas Kosla was 58 years old at the time and worked for Vellum Davies, 4101 S. Union Ave, Chicago at the time.
According to the Registrar's Report his hair and eyes were brown, he wore dark glasses and was blind. He registered on April 27, 1942 at the Local Board No. 127, Chicago City, 1020 N. Western Ave. Could this be your husband's grandfather?


Frank Joseph LOJAS, place of residence 15711, Kennicott Ave., Harvey, IL, born on July 8, 1891 in Poronin, district of Nowy Targ. Nearest relative was Antoinette (misspelled Antonnet; most likely his wife), same address. Frank Joseph Lojas was 51 years old at the time and worked for Hamilton Steel at 1825 West 74th St., Chicago. According to the Registrar's Report his hair and eyes were brown, and he had a scar on the left hand. He registered on April 27, 1942 at the Local Board No. 12, Harvey, IL.


Andrew LOJAS, place of residence 4357 S Honore St., Chicago, born on Oct. 8, 1880 in Poland (place not given). His nearest relative was his wife Caroline Lojas, 4357 S Honore St., Chicago. Andrew Lojas was 53 years old at the time and worked for himself (barber).
According to the Registrar's Report his hair was gray, his eyes were blue, and he had a scar on his nose. He registered on April 27, 1942 at the Local Board No. 25, 1607 West 51st St., Chicago, IL.


Walter John LOJAS, place of residence 4307 So. Wolcott Ave, Chicago, born on April 3, 1895 in Wilksberry, Penn. His nearest relative was his wife Marie Lojas, 4307 S. Wolcott, Chicago. Walter John Lojas was 47 years old at the time and worked for Middle State Jobbers, Mr. Welsch, Yards 5940, 3800 So. Racine, Chicago, IL.

According to the Registrar's Report his hair and eyes were gray, and he had a scar on his left arm. He registered on April 27, 1942 at the Local Board No. 98, Chicago City, 4624 South Western Ave., Chicago.
