I am trying to find information about my great grandfather Gustav Moritz Becker, born in Jany or Janus be Gruenberg(now Zielona Gora), Silesia on 29th November, 1836 and lived in Prittag. He was the son of Friedrich August Becker, a teacher in Jany. Gustav migrated to Australia, from Hamburg, on the schooner "Sophie and Frederike" on 25 October, 1860. He arrived in South Australia on 15th February, 1861. He married Ernestine Auguste Gunder on 24 September, 1863.
I have not been able to find any information and would appreciate any help anyone can give me, Thanks, Chris
