Can anyone tell me is the (town?) of Mieszkowice, Poland the former Balwalde, Germany??? I am so lost and can't find where my Great Grandmother was born. I would like to find a site that shows the former town of Balwalde (shops, homes, etc.) I would like to find information about the area in 1900. Thank you for any help you can provide.
